Meeting Calvin James, the Time Capsule in the Library, Courtyard basketball games, the Upper Field, the Sandbox, “Fruit Breaks”, catered lunches, betting w/ Cliff Brown, Carpool, The Discovery Program, Enrichment classes, Olympic Day at Piedmont Park… and the Principle’s Office, pretty much describe my experience at the greatest elementary school on earth.

May The Children’s School continue to set standards of “FUNDAMENTAL QUALITY” in education, for another 40 years!

After having a Portabella burger stuffed with cheddar and munster cheese at SHAKE SHACK, I decided in my mind that that would be easy to make…..I think. You can find the recipe after the jump.

MAKES 2 BURGERS:

1 tomato

1 head of lettuce

2 wheat bagels

1 egg

1 cup of wheat bread crumbs

2 slices of munster and mild cheddar cheese

2 portabella mushrooms

So Im up late working on our designs for fall 2010, and I come across this ridiculous infomercial on TV. Apparently the people over YUDU feel they can take an art and skill and pack all the skill into one machine. The fact that they say you can do this in your kitchen on the table is just ridiculous, is this what the world is coming too. Oh yeah I Have a blackberyy with a camera, Calvin James photography coming soon. Almost forgot did some research and YUDU s next product is the DUDDLE, and its simple take the small usb provided shuv it up your A, ad you will instantly be able to draw, paint, sew etc. And the best thing of all you can do it at a urinal. Is the YUDU FUNDAMENTAL QULITY ? You be the judge.

They come in different shapes and sizes , and if you have a number and an email you should probably have one. For some reason we thought putting up a website, printing t-shirts, making stickers and etc… were more important. Somehow we believed if we said Sehota 1. people would google it, 2. people knew how to spell it, 3. people cared what it was, 4. they would know what we do, 5. we thought somehow the name Sehota would stick in their head and maybe give us a call….wait do they even know what our number is. Below is a preview of the most FUNDAMENTAL thing of them all a business card.

While doing some research (or lack their of) for Spring 2011 I came across this video on bullet proof clothing. The best part about this video is not the clothing but, the fact that every employee is shot just to make sure they can behind the product 100 percent. Bulletproof clothing is and will always be FUNDAMENTAL QUALITY.

The whole concept of a fortune cookie is FUNDAMENTAL QULITY and something I wish I thought of; (A piece a paper in cookie that makes you feel good about yourself and if your lucky a winning lottery number) unfortunately the Japanese beat me to it.

A fortune cookie is a crisp Asian cookie usually made from flour, sugar, vanilla, and oil with a “fortune” wrapped inside. A “fortune” is a piece of paper with words of faux wisdom or a vagueprophecy. In the United States and Canada (although also available in other parts of the Western world), it is usually served with Chinese food in Chinese restaurants as a dessert. The message inside may also include a list of lucky numbers (used by some as lottery numbers) and a Chinese phrase with translation. The exact provenance of fortune cookies is unclear, but various immigrant groups in California claim to have popularized them in the early 20th century, basing their recipe on a traditional Japanese cracker.^[1] The cookies are mostly unknown in mainland China or Taiwan.

Some brands post what they ate for the day, but really who cares when we know they can not even make it…. Well heres a change to the streetwear norm. All ingredients cost about $12.00 and only takes about 45 min of your time, You Can find the recipe after the jump.

Prep: 2o min Total: 1 hour (includes cooling)

1 refigerated ready to use pie crust {1/2 of 15-oz. pkg.}

1 tsp. cinnamon sugar {3/4 tsp. sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon}

1 1/4 cups half and half

1 pkg. {4-serving size} Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling

1 cup thawed Cool Whipped Topping

1 1/2 cups fresh PEACH slices { about 1 large}

1/2 cup bluberries

1/2 cup rasberries

PRHEAT oven to 450F. Unroll pie crust onto baking sheet; sprinkle with cinnoman sugar. Bake 8-10 min. or until lightly browned; cool completely.

MEANWHILE pour half and half into medium bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until blended. Gently stir whipped topping;cover. Refigerate until ready to use.

SPREAD pudding mixture over crust just before serving; top with fruit. Cut into slices. Store leftovers in frige.

* YOU CAN USE ANY FRUIT YOU WANT AND ALSO USE THE LOWFAT VERSION OF ALL INGREDIENTS AND STILL GET GREAT RESULTS

This documentary gives a good look at street art and its history, and it provides an explanation and excitement for those who dont quite understand rush the comes with throwing up stickers, stencils, and othe types of street art. The movie was shown at sundance with only limited release in the US, but fortunatley for us they didnt forget about us here in the south and the movie will be premiering in Atlanta on April 30th at Midtown Art. Being that im currently in New York right now I will being seeing it tonight, I will be sure to update the post with pics. You can find the show times below along with a link to buy tickets.

PS. You should probably bring someone along who doesnt quite understand that street art is an “art” and little by liitle maybe street art get will get the much needed respect it deserves.
